At the limit.

All I can post for the time being is a note to let you know that until I figure out what to do....Blogger is saying I'm at the max limit for photo and video storage. Not bad, considering this has been free since way back in 2007.  I may have to pay to get it from the current free 10G to 25G space for about $3 a month.  Not sure yet.

Until then, please feel free to browse the archives from 2007 to the present.  There's some great stuff stored on here.

Keep checking back and hopefully, I can decide what to do.

Our Little Graduate

Miss Lizzie has officially graduated from her PetCo Puppy One Class, with the highest honors.  We'll be starting Puppy Two Classes in a few weeks.

Isn't she beautiful?  She has learned the commands:  Sit, Stay, Come, Lay Down, Shake, Go Eat, Drop It, bell-ringing to go outside.....still learning Leave It, Take It, & Take A Bow.  Loose-leash training is still going well once she calms down.  She loves to play frisbee and ball, but only brings the item back half the time.  She is very food motivated...you can teach her anything, if food is the reward.

With the right harness, even Molly can walk Lizzie with control.  This will help establish Molly as one Lizzie should obey instead of herd and control as she has been doing.

The gift that our trainer, Laura, made just for Lizzie.  It's full of treats, toys and coupons.

In a few days, Lizzie will be 5 months old.  Not bad for a baby, huh?

Halloween

The night before Halloween and we just carved our pumpkin.

Posing with Daddy, Lizzie and the pumpkin.

A curious puppy trying to see what Molly is doing.

Rapunzel

The toddler kids in my class...bee, pink poodle, girl garden gnome  strawberry, Tigger, Elmo, fairy and boy garden gnome.

Cutie patooties.

Molly's class just came by to see us.

The two other classes went across the road to a retirement community for an hour of trick-or-treating and visiting the residents there.  The visit was so much fun for all, that they are already planning a Christmas Caroling visit in December.

What a pretty place and so many were there to greet the kids.

Even the residents dressed up for the event.

Trick or treating from a row of walkers.

Molly talking with a princess lady and her dog.

I'm glad they went, and they all seemed to have a good time.  I'm told she said Thank You to everyone who gave her candy.

At home before heading out to our neighborhood for trick or treating...eating a ghostly donut and drinking hot apple cider.

Lizzie, just back from the groomer, sporting a nifty Halloween scarf.

With Daddy to visit some neighboring houses.

Down the street...

At Big Max the Bandit's house...(our shared neighborhood cat.)

This morning, a sleepy pj girl and last night's pumpkin by the front door, along with the little pumpkin she got at school.

Birthday in the Park

Last week, Molly was invited to her friend Avery's 4th birthday party.  It was held at the park just up the road from us on one of the last warm and beautiful days of the season.  The weather was perfect, nearly hot...this week was very cold.  Molly was able to play with several of her friends from school, Avery, Reagan, Brody, Paisley, Megan and Lindsay along with several of Avery's cousins and other friends.  We had pizza, cookies, juiceboxes and there were lots of presents and time to play on the big slides and play areas.  The kiddos had a blast and I enjoyed talking with the moms, dads and grandmas.  I'm thinking we should try to have Molly's next birthday out here too.  It was a nice day.

All the kids on the mat eating pizza.

Cheese!  .. or Pepperoni!

Time for presents.  (Glad to see Megan has learned the proper way to cover her sneeze.)  We spend a lot of time at school teaching them that!

We had fun.  Happy Birthday Avery!

The Peak of Fall Colors

Looking up at the maple tree and the fiery oranges, yellows and reds...with lingering summer green on the low branches.

The view upward from the hammock under the redbud tree last week.  Most of these leaves have turned yellow and blown away by now.  The hammock gets rolled up soon too.  I'm looking forward to the spring when this same tree turns so vividly purple with blossoms that it casts a warm rosy glow inside the house on bright days.

Dan and Lizzie playing in the backyard.

Lots of colorful leaves.

Brightly colored maple leaves.

Buddies.

A few short weeks ago, this photo would not have been possible.  Molly was so afraid of Lizzie, she would not go near her.  Lizzie didn't know that her excited and uncontrolled nature, jumping and nipping was scary to a 4 year old.  Lizzie is much calmer around Molly now, thank goodness.

Pretty golden haired girl.

Playing in the leaves with Lizzie.

Yay!

Smart and pretty puppy.

At 4 1/2 months old, Lizzie is doing very well and growing so fast!

Here she is playing in the backyard.

So pretty on a fall day.

She obeys "sit" and "stay" which makes taking good photos of her very easy.

So pretty....

Here we are with our dog trainer, Laura, out behind Petco.  We were working on loose-leash training.

Here we are at another puppy class when we were working on "take a bow" and some other commands and tricks.  (Molly just couldn't stay out of the action.)

Here's Dan working with her.
