Last weekend, Molly and I went to the Fall Festival at Farragut Primary School where she'll be attending Kindergarten next year. I saw it as a chance to get to walk around the school inside and out to get a feel for it. As it turns out, the local community came out in full force to support this fundraising event. Farragut Primary is for Kindergarten, First and Second Grades only which I like very much and although it may be an older school, it seems to be very well kept, clean and cheerful with lots of friendly staff and teachers. Sometime before the end of the school year, I hope to get a tour of the school to see the classrooms and meet with the teachers. This festival was crazy with crowds and activities, so to see the school in a more daily routine setting would be nice.
Here, we had just rounded the hilltop to see all the bouncy air playhouses that she was busting to go see. She was saying "Cheeeese" but thinking "Hurry up, I want to play!"
She loved the playground.
She thought the big USA map on the sidewalk was cool as she jumped from state to state calling them out loud....making me proud.

We laughed when we saw that it looked like the caterpillar was "pooping" out small children. She thought that was hilarious.

On our way back to the car....Since so many people went, we had to park on the other side of the library and the other side of Campbell Station Park. But it was a nice walk through the park and she played on some statues...a turtle, bear and beaver.
