Established as recently as 1980, Farragut is a great town and has a lot of amenities that we already enjoy where our rental home is located. There are so many parks, walking trails, ponds, great shopping, libraries, plenty of nice restaurants, well planned neighborhoods, and excellent schools.
Hardin Valley feels more like wide open rolling green pastures and fields, with scattered neighborhoods nestled up into forests and hills. It seems to be more up and coming with lots of planned areas for shopping coming in the near future. It also boasts some of the best schools in town.
The more we search, the more we feel that one of these two areas is where we will find our next home. We'll see!
