Afternoon with Dad and Phoebe

After our visit with Erin, JB and the girls down in Las Cruces, we stopped off to see Dad and Phoebe on our way up to Albuquerque.  We just had to stop by our favorite little hole in the wall restaurant way off the beaten path, La Pasadita for some good Mexican food smothered in green or red chile.  Afterwards, we stopped at a funny little spot called "The Festival of the Crayons", which plays off the theme of "The Festival of the Cranes" happening down at Bosque del Apache.  Molly enjoyed seeing the oversized and very colorful crayons.  We also played with a very friendly little kitty cat that we wanted to take home with us.

On I-25 northbound.

The Owl Bar in San Antonio where I used to work about 20 years ago.  Looks exactly the same.

Molly at the front door at Dad and Phoebe's place.

Dad, Dan and Molly on the front porch.

Hanging on the railing and smiling for the camera.

Walking into La Pasadita for some good food.

Molly and Dan ready to eat.

A very funny smile on Molly's face as she sits on Grandpa Phil's lap.

Being goofy!

Yes, they closed soon after we left.

Hugging Daddy.

Standing near a forest of giant crayons in town.

Playing with the sweetest little kitty wandering around the place.
