It's always helpful when putting up the Christmas tree to have a chattering child orbiting around you while you try not to drop anything on her. Molly was SO excited to see the tree come out of the box and watch as Daddy put it together. At this age, Christmas is a magical time...an artificial tree covered in lights is from the fairies and angels themselves. The dusty box from the attic and the tangled wires are unnoticed. Just the pretty lights and colors are all she sees. I like that.
Consulting with Daddy on how he's putting up the tree.
Walking around and helping.
Zap on the ottoman while we worked on the tree.
(Note the photo of Zip in the background.) We are really missing him right now.
Molly grabbing a fresh baked cookie.
Milk and cookie time.
Back to decorating the trees with all the ornaments down on the lower branches.
