We had a nice surprise a couple weeks ago. I got a phone call from our friend Anna Hinton, who we knew when we lived in Richmond. Her husband Tony worked with Dan and they also lived in the same Pebble Creek neighborhood that we did. Anna was very helpful and so wonderful to me during the last part of my pregnancy.
She also took some incredible photos of me and my big pregnant belly and then some of our brand new little family with baby Molly...photos I dearly love and can never thank her enough for.
They were travelling from their new home in Orlando up to West Virginia for a ski trip and on their way back home, they stopped in Knoxville for a while. We had them, their son Lucas and Anna's mother, Zelia, from Brazil, over for the afternoon.
It took Lucas and Molly 0.2 seconds to warm up to each other and head for the toy room to play all afternoon. We'd stopped by their home near Orlando on our trip to Miami last summer, so I think the kids had a good memory of each other too.
It was such a nice afternoon spent with friends, good food and fun with the kids. It means so much to us that they have kept in touch with us since we all moved away from Virginia.
