We had quite a snowstorm yesterday, and so did a lot of areas around the country this week. I think that giant winter storm that tromped all over the west coast last week, the midwest a few days ago...finally got us yesterday and is now heading out to sea. Too bad it couldn't have been a couple weeks earlier, then our move would not have had to be rescheduled and we could just enjoy the beauty of the snow.
The snow started late friday night and lasted all day long on Saturday. Here is the Jimmy parked outside since we are starting to fill up the garage with things in preparation for the move.
The snowfall was so thick and fast, it seemed as though you would have to hold your breath if you stood out there too long.
Today, the sun was shining bright as Dan shoveled the driveway. We received a call from the driver of the moving truck in Knoxville. He suggested we wait a day or two to let the roads clear up more. He said that Knoxville was slammed with snow also and it could be too slick to drive. So, now we have a little more extra time to get things prepared.
