Mom & Grandma's Visit

On November 18th, my mom & grandma arrived from Haskell, Texas to spend a few days with us. As luck would have it, they were here just in time for our house closing on the 19th. It was great to have someone to care for Molly so we could sign all the house paperwork and talk to the realtors and loan officers without Molly being rambunctious and distracting.

We showed them our new house and took this four generation photo in our new backyard.


We also were able to take our traditional "just closed on our new house" photo.

The last time we took one of these, it was in Richmond in Dec. 2007 when I was pregnant with Molly. Who knows what the next one will look like? I hope it's a long long time from now. No more moving for a while!

We were given the identity of a passenger and at the end of the tour...we found out whether we survived the sinking or not. As it turns out, Molly received the card for Millvina Dean...a 9 week old baby who lived to be 97! Pretty amazing.

Believe me, you can never read too many books to this child. It was nice to have some help in that department!

Thanks Mom and Grandma for helping take care of Molly while we had so much to do that week. We had fun. We love you and miss you.
