Time to play in the snow!

A 2 year old can make the simplest of outings one of two things..either fun or frustrating. Luckily, our trip to buy some snow boots the other day was a fun time.



This hardly seems like a worthy topic for a blog entry until you know that our little one just went crazy when we found some pink Tinkerbell boots. She had to have them. She is a toddler size 7 and these were 8's and since this was the smallest they had...we went ahead and got them. I mean, after all, they're just boots...not like she's going to wear them to a store, restaurant or day care...right? We'll just let her wear them out in the yard to play in the snow or rain puddles and she can wear two or three pairs of socks to fill in the empty space until her tootsies are the right size...next year.

In the meantime, she's thrilled to clomp around the house in them...and building a snowman is an especially great time. "We going to play in snow...we going to build a snowman...YAY!" She was ecstatic, excited, exuberant...busting to go outside to play in the snow. It was a joy for us all.
