This weather just makes me want to get all kinds of pretty flowers and herbs and plant them in pots. The other day, Molly and I went to the store to pick out some flowers and start our new little herb garden.
Here she is in the late afternoon sunshine, so cute in her sundress and rubber Tinker Bell boots.
She said she was saying goodnight to her "flower friends." Also, that they would "enjoy drinking their water and eating their very good dirt." I guess on some level, that is true.
Our herb garden, with basil, sage, dill and thyme. It's already started to grow and I've used some in a couple recipes.
I'm a fool for lavender...the color, the scent, the plant...love it! Here is my sunny girl beside our new lavender plant.
