Family Visit

Well, at long last, I finally have time to write a bit. We have tons of photos from the week of Molly's baptism. It took a long time to go through them all to pick out the best shots for posting on the blog.

It was nice to see everyone...Dan's parents Walt and Anita, his brother Phillip and Ellen and their boys Zachary and Blayne, his sister Lesann and Marvin and two of their four girls Chelsea and Olivia, and his sister Janet and her daughter Samantha. We also were glad to see our very good friends Holly and Karim Fattah. We chose to have Marvin be Molly's godfather and Holly to be her godmother. We are honored to have Marvin and Holly as Molly's godparents and feel they will be excellent role models to help guide Molly on her way through her spiritual life.

Everyone had a chance to meet Molly and hopefully get a chance to hold her. After the baptism ceremony at the church, we all met up at our house for a little party. We had pizza, chips and dips and a little cake and ice cream. It was a nice chance to get caught up on everyone's lives and for them to meet the newest member of our growing family. As you can see, we had a nice time. We wish we could get together more often.

We'll post more photos from the week later on.  Dan and the rest went to several downtown areas and nearby battlefields as well as historic towns like Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown.  I stayed at home with Molly.  It was just too much to do and too hot to take a baby along for the whole day.  It seems like they all had fun.  I'll try to get Dan to post about their excursions in a few days.
