We bought a new car.

Why is "Skip to my Lou" and "Pop Goes the Weasel" embeded into my brain cells? I wonder.


A couple weeks ago, we got Molly a brand new car...a toy one, that is. She loves it too. It plays several songs and has a 5 key paino keyboard on the front. There is also a horn that sounds like a jazz trumpet and a snare drum sound. She loves to rev the engine and there is also an ignition sound too. She also loves to put things into the under the seat compartment. When she discovered the seat raised up, she smiled with delight.

She can now go forward without us pushing. At first, it was all backwards driving and hitting walls. Her driving skills have improved, although she won't be getting her official license until 2024. I can wait.
