Birthday Presents!!

Fresh and clean from her bath, it was time for opening presents! (This was just after the cake incident.) We let her open most of her gifts herself. Translation: it took f o r e v e r ! Plus, she only really cared about the tissue paper anyway. Oh, and Elmo. Once we found the gift with that red bug eyed baby monster from tv, she hardly ever let him out of her sight. She got lots of cute things: some clothes for summer, a few books, a padded cover for shopping carts and public highchairs, colorful textured balls to play with, gift cards and cash, plus her new car seat...the kid made out like a bandit and she has no idea why. We think she did enjoy herself. Next year will be even more fun. Maybe she will be able to blow out her own candles?
