We had our Thanksgiving yesterday. It was Molly's first time to have spoon fed food consisting of milk with rice cereal. At first, when she saw the spoon coming for her she must have thought: "Good...something for me to chew on. Wait. What's this? Yick!" We used Dan's baby spoon for this special occasion for Molly's first meal. She made some hilarious faces while managing to eat 3 or 4 bites.
After feeding Molly for the first time, Dan and I had turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rolls, and green bean casserole. Our first attempt at cooking a turkey went well and everything tasted delicious. I saved making the apple pie until today since the oven was occupied all day long with other things...just as well, we were too full for dessert anyway.
We did miss seeing everyone and hope that next year, we'll be able to travel.
