Our Trick or Treat Neighborhood

Yesterday, before all the trick or treaters hit the streets, we went for a little walk around the block to check out some of the fall colors and Halloween decorations in our neighborhood.

This whole street was a completely packed madhouse of parents with little kids going door to door, cars drifting by slowly, people laughing and talking and asking "what are you?" and "hey, cool costume....", "oh how cute you look..." This is the way Halloween is supposed to be. The best part was, they all disappeared by 9:00 and I never saw a smashed pumpkin anywhere. Check out this video snippet I took from our front yard. You can't see much, but you can hear the festivities. It was fun for all.
