"Enjoying his morning cup of joe. Maybe it's decaf?"A few weeks ago, we were very worried about Ringo. He had been losing weight and was not interested in eating or drinking. After a few blood tests and check-ups it may have been a liver problem flare-up. He has been on a round of medication for a while and will be for a couple more months.
In three months, we are supposed to report to our vet on how he's doing. So far, our senior kitty is doing better. He hasn't gained his weight back, but he hasn't lost any either. He should weigh 12 pounds and is down to 10...a little skinny, but at least now he has some renewed energy and strength. He looked like he was knocking on death's door and now, he seems more like his old mischevious self.
