Standing on her own.

Molly is learning how to stand all by herself. For a few weeks, she has been using the furniture to lean on and to get around in combination with crawling. She's taken a few tumbles, but always gets up with a smile, rubs her head and is ready to give it another try.

Yesterday, we picked up a soft canvas box to put some of her toys in. Last week, she chewed on a basket and broke off a sharp piece...so out it went and in came a more durable option. Seriously, can she destroy a sturdy waterproof, canvas box? We'll see. In the meantime, she LOVES to put things into the box and then throw them back out. Look out! She's got a mean backwards hook and toys of all shapes, sizes and weights can go flyin'!

Tonight, she used the new box to help her up. She looked at us as if to say..."Hey, I'm not leaning on the furniture! I'm way out here in the middle of the room! Look at me!" She did it over and over until she got it right. We're so proud of her. She tries so hard at everything and usually gets it right in the end. And yes, that is Zip laying on Dan's lap purring.
