Her first doctor visit

Today, we went to Molly's first doctor visit...and she did exceptionally well. Her weight is back up to 7.139 and she is fattening up just like she's supposed to do - (it's common for babies to lose a little weight in their first few days). She is right on track with everything and we feel very lucky and blessed that she is doing so well. We have another appointment next week just to keep track of her newborn progress. We are sure she will be perfectly on target then too.

It has been requested that we post more photos of Molly if we have any new ones. Well your wish is our command. Our new favorite thing to do is show anyone who is interested photos of our new little one. Her professional hospital-taken photos are on their way too. We'll be sending those out as soon as they arrive.


Yesterday, our friend Anna stopped by to see Molly and while she was here, she took some very nice photos for us and she is going to be sending them to us soon. She took some wonderful close ups of Molly's feet and hands...very, very sweet. Anna is a good friend and she was so excited to see Molly.


Mom and Molly have had a nice chance to bond a little bit. It is a pure joy just to hold this beautiful baby when she is content and sleepy. She warms all of our hearts.



We've received gifts and flowers from far and wide. We got some flowers from Holly, Molly's godmother-to-be, we got a bunch of balloons and a cute toy from Aunt Erin, and today, we got a big box full of a wide sellection of little girl clothes from my cousin Ashli. A while back, we got a box of bathtime toys, books and gifts from Phillip, Ellen, Zachary and Blayne. Everyday brings a new surprise of some kind. We are very thankful for everyone in our lives who cares so much about our little girl.




She is very easy to love.
