They are very excited at the prospects of gorgeous homes in their price budget range. As they are expecting a child in the spring and hopefully another child in a year or two, they are looking for a home to handle their growing family and to accommodate the family and friends who they hope will visit often. Can you guess which one of these three houses they will choose??

House number one in New Kent was not what they had expected at all. The location was a bit too desolate, rural, rough around the edges and too far from any basic shopping and schools. This home looked great on paper, but definitely not so hot in person. It had some strange things going on, a stariway with no railing to a single room over the garage, the trim work was coming apart in the living room, this home had been lived in hard and not taken care of at all over the many years it's been here.
Welcome back from the break. Let's see if you can guess which home this new married couple will choose. Here is the second home on their tour. It is in the highly desirable "trick or treat" neighborhood in the conveniently located Kings Charter area. It is a wonderfully comfortable, well cared for home full of upgrades and tastefull decorator touches. It is backed up to a lush, wooded area owned by the subdivision and the side lot is never going to be built on. This home is a lower priced home for the area with all other homes nearby being more pricy. This home will be a great investment and retain it's value over the years. It is a tremendous value for this highly sought after neighborhood. Here are the photos.
House number 3 on their house hunting quest, is a beautiful home tucked way back into a heavily treed one acre lot. It has a very charming, warm, curb appeal. There is a great multi-level deck in the back, a screened porch with a picnic table and double swing, and a side entry garage with extra parking in the back. The inside of this 16 year old house has been nicely maintained. There is a Florida room just off the family room, near the kitchen. A room that can be made into a library-reading room is in the front. The master bedroom has cleverly designed storage closets, even a shoe closet. There are skylights in several rooms, a brick fireplace and a stained glass window in the family room. The storage capacity in this home is astounding with a walk-in partial basement, and an attic with a cedar closet installed up there. Each bedroom has nice sized closets too. The front porch is also great for sitting and enjoying the tranquil scenery of this deep set front yard with a fountain near the porch. What a wonderful retreat this home would be.
