We're movin' on up...

....to the west side....to a deelux apartment in the sky-y-y...

Oh yeah, we're moving out to the much better and safer west side of town, out to TownePlace Suites by Marriott on Park Place Court in Glen Allen courtesy of Qimonda. These squeaky wheels are getting some grease! Thomas and Sylvia are moving with us and we are all so very glad. The drive for them out to Qimonda will be a bit longer, but we don't really care at this point. Hey, it's "MARRIOTT" - AND they allow pets! Can you believe that? So, our four cats and their dog are welcome too...with a deposit, but who cares?

I am preparing as much as I can for a quick departure as soon as Dan gets home from work. I am washing all the linens and towels, along with any of our dirty clothes and packing up both of our bags. I'll wipe down the bathrooms and kitchen, empty the dishwasher and run the vacuum so we can leave here with it in better shape than we found it. We'll be able to pick up the Jimmy tonight, load it up along with the Mazda and it's over to better days and nights at the Marriott. Qimonda is handling the lease with this place, so we're outta here! Yes!

We are going to use any free weekdays Dan has to look at houses with Nancy and maybe talk to Steve the mortgage guy who works in her office - which, incidently, is just up the street from our new digs at TownePlace Suites. But we'll be careful not to fall too far into love with any houses just yet. We still have to wait until Crown Ridge sells first, but we still need to scout out neighborhoods with an expert. Ah, let's hope that things start looking up for us soon.
