Happy New Year!

We have no photos from our "Happy New Year" because we were sleeping. Yes, it was uneventful and we were all tired. This was the first year since I was a little kid that I didn't stay up to watch the crystal ball drop in NY on tv...and this time it would have been live, not some 2 hour taped delay. (By the way: Does anyone else find it odd that they have a "crystal ball" to mark the beginning of a new year? Hmmm...as if we could foresee the future? Think about it....)

Anyway, here are a few more photos from our Christmas morning with Molly and her first Christmas stocking. We hope that what ever surprises may be in your 2009 stocking are all good things. We often wonder what this new year will bring for us. Last year was a doozy!!


She was more interested in the stocking than what was inside it. I guess that's not such a bad thing. What a sweet expression.

Here is our mantle all decorated with lights and garland. It looks very nice at night.
